“Our labor unions are not narrow, self-seeking groups. They have raised wages, shortened hours, and provided supplemental benefits. Through collective bargaining and grievance procedures, they have brought justice and democracy to the shop floor.”

-John F. Kennedy

Your support through membership in the union is of vital importance to provide the resources necessary to defend workers' rights, negotiate agreements, and provide members with information and education. While the union is called upon to come to the aid of all those covered in the collective bargaining agreement, that coverage is limited for nonmembers.
